Shaping the Future, Celebrating Summer

More than 110 attendees from about 50 companies gathered under our roof to discuss and exchange ideas on various topics related to the Virtual Power Plant. Topics ranged from hybrid parks and balancing power to global market insights and power forecasts. 

Particularly inspiring were the guest presentations by Takaoki Ueda (Enexia), who shared insights into the Japanese market, as well as the presentation by Giorgos Korosidis and Gerasimos Takis from Optimus Energy on the Greek market. The keynote presentations by Jan-Bernd Gillrath (Quadra Energy) and Amani Joas (Flex Power) provided interesting topics for discussion during the evening get-together, topped of by good food, delicious cocktails and glorious summer weather.

On the second day, Stephan Erling (MVV) provided exciting insights into the balancing power market with wind and PV. In addition, Pascal Krommendijk and Mark Laukemper (N·E·ST) used concrete examples to demonstrate how assets are connected to the market.

The inspiring discussions, valuable insights, and new connections made these two days a great success – and we are excited to continue shaping the future of the Virtual Power Plant together.
